Pediatric Trauma & Orthopaedics

Children are not small adults. I use child-friendly examination, minimal-exposure imaging (X-ray; ultrasound where useful) and growth-plate–aware decisions. Many fractures heal beautifully with plaster or functional bracing. When fixation is needed, I use TENS or other minimally invasive methods that respect growth and future alignment.

Parents receive clear guidance about pain control, limb elevation, cast care, school timing, sports return, nutrition and vitamin D. My team plans sedation/anaesthesia safely, screens for associated injuries, and coordinates with physiotherapy so movement restarts gently at the right time. We discuss affordable and advanced options transparently.

Follow-up focuses on growth monitoring, alignment checks and reassurance.
